The Koh Young Best Paper Award

A recent wave in engineering is the fusion of optical and mechatronic technologies to not only produce enhanced performance, but also to create new and innovative functionalities. The integration of the technologies termed “Optomechatronics” is becoming a major driving force to encourage future cutting-edge technology.

The “Koh Young Best Paper Award” has the objective to help stimulate this evolving trend by recognizing and encouraging advancement and innovation in the field of optomechatronics. The award will go to the best paper published in the International Journal of Optomechatronics in the previous year, as determined by the Koh Young Award Committee, and will be conferred annually.

Winners will receive an honorarium of USD $1000 and a plaque honoring their work.
